Oolong tea falls somewhere between green and black tea–with the leaves being only partially oxidized during processing.

Tieguanyin (aka Iron Goddess of Mercy) is of one of the most revered teas in China, and for good reason. Delicate flavor, florals and complexity are often a reflection of the unique terroir of the land the tea is grown on and Master Zhang’s is no exception. For hundreds of years, his family has been growing tea on their misty mountain peak in Anxi. Older plants have deeper roots which can tap mineral-rich spring water, lending a sweet minerality to the tea.

Master Zhang goes above and beyond simple organic practices and uses completely natural, sustainable processes to ensure his tea land will continue to yield legendary tea for generations to come.

About 15 cups per bag.
