Yanki Special Darjeeling

Lead by farmer Yankhu Tamang; this tea was grown by one of the first small-farm collectives in Darjeeling – allowing for better quality and better working conditions for the members than the large estates typical of Darjeeling. These farmers focus on quality first – using natural farming methods and processing the tea at their small factory in Mirik Valley. Second flush-harvesting means a slightly more flavorful, fruit-forward cup.
